I recommend “For Baby’s Only” formula. They are completely organic and gmo free. They are also the only soy formula I could find (LO has milk protein intolerance) that uses something other than corn syrup as the main ingredient. Hain’s “Earth’s Best” contains questionable fatty acids derived from Hexane, as well as the aforementioned corn syrup as it’s main ingredient.

Thanks for the info, people just don’t understand how these things can affect them and more so their small children.

I just got off the phone with Similac. Their Similac Soy has also been “genetically modified.” And, NO: IT IS NOT ON THEIR LABEL!!!! When I reported this to them they let me know that they stick to current government regulations and that they are not required by law to notate this information on their lablels. Gee, thanks! Here is a link to an interesting article: http://eldib.wordpress.com/2009/07/22/doctors-warn-avoid-genetically-modified-food/

Hi minx- you are very welcome. I know all too well how difficult the food specific info is to locate. How it has escaped the label-requirements for this long is anybody’s guess. The more I read, the larger a mistake the whole deal looks, hm?

Mead Johnson products also are G/modified..all corn and soy based..especially enfamil..the person I spoke did not understand what the fuss is about..but also did not know of studies, and scientific data..said lots available but did not know specifics..These criminals have managed to pollute everything, and now the baby food..what a world!
