Hi minx- you are very welcome. I know all too well how difficult the food specific info is to locate. How it has escaped the label-requirements for this long is anybody’s guess. The more I read, the larger a mistake the whole deal looks, hm?

I just got off the phone with Similac. Their Similac Soy has also been “genetically modified.” And, NO: IT IS NOT ON THEIR LABEL!!!! When I reported this to them they let me know that they stick to current government regulations and that they are not required by law to notate this information on their lablels. Gee, thanks! Here is a link to an interesting article: http://eldib.wordpress.com/2009/07/22/doctors-warn-avoid-genetically-modified-food/
